" I am a mid 40's female with a background of regular exercise up to 2002. Since that time I have had a relatively sedentary job and this has had an awful effect on me. I piled on 1.5 stone in weight, looked unhealthy; I could not motivate myself to do things in the evening other than sleep in front of the TV.

I spotted the Zone Training advert and thought umm? Could this really help me? I needed to get a grip health wise. Being unsure I emailed the address and explained my position and explained that I was very conscious of my size, weight and appearance.

I had an email back from Zone Training how he would assess my fitness before he would deliver any exercise plus an explaination of his business. The assessment was very thorough which surprised me; and detailed notes were made. The next step was for me to make a nutrition diary for the next week so he could then assess my nutrition intake.

I then met Laurence at a local gym for the first time. I found the session very useful and I felt better than I had for a long time. Between sessions Laurence emailed me programmers to follow as I could visit the gym whilst at work. Once I had completed the nutrition diary Laurence then advised me on how I could change my diet and add various things to it.

Our meetings continued with weekly programmes to follow at work. I have to say the motivation that I received from Laurence was subtle but very effective. He certainly knows his stuff. After the first 2 meetings I could feel the improvement. Within 4 weeks of taking up with Zone Training my weight had started to fall and clothes that were previously tight and uncomfortable actually fitted me with room to spare. This had a knock on affect as the better I felt the more I wanted to exercise.

My partner also saw the positive effect this had on me and encouraged me to carry on visiting Laurence for weekly weight training and cardiovascular sessions at the gym. Also our eating habits changed which helped us both!

I play a lot of competitive golf and since my meight training with Zone Training I found that I was stronger during any round and have cut my handicap. During the evenings my energy levels increased and I now find other things to do rather than slump in front of the TV. After six weeks of training on a regular basis Laurence checked my Body Composition again. I was amazed my BMI (Body Mass Index) had dropped and was nearly in the normal zone plus my body fat had dropped.

The fee is a small price to pay for the customer service and help & advice from Laurence. I am certainly converted and feel I have found a Personal Trainer who is interested in me and my goals.

Thanks to Zone Training I will achieve my goals and loose more weight and get fitter not fatter!
